To edit or not to edit




There are some purist snobbery views that to project oneself as capable photographer, the printable images should come direct out-of-the-box (camera) and not to post-process using the many available softwares.

I say.... its bulls!!

To these opinionated individuals as no matter how advanced camera systems are, they aren't as sophisticated as the human eyes as they are more capable to do more than linear algorithm as their digital counterpart.

For instance;
  • our eyes adjust for backlighting that even the ADL system of Nikon can't handle
  • the eyes are very versatile and by the mere squint they can change the aperture, f
as an analogy, it just like having a separate hi-fidelity system to try and reproduce the concert audio quality. No way!
